Esteban Ocon (born on September 17, 1996) was a promising karter, Ocon’s folks sold their home, put their positions on pause, and started a day-to-day existence out and about, residing in a troop and making a trip from one circuit to another to help their child’s thriving vocation. 2014 saw Ocon leap forward in the realm of single-seaters, as he beat a specific Max Verstappen to the European F3 title. Supported by Mercedes, he brought home the GP3 championship the next year and was part of the way through a time of DTM in 2016 whenever he was offered the opportunity to supplant Rio Haryanto at the minnow Manor group from the Belgian Grand Prix onwards.
Ocon waited for his chance, however, and following a year uninvolved as Mercedes’ hold driver, he found his direction back into a race seat for 2020 with Renault, who became Alpine for 2021 – when his stand-by at long last paid off, as he scored his – and the well known French marque’s – first F1 win.
