Even though Pokémon celebrated its 20th anniversary, the appeal of Pokémon is timeless. In its decades-long history, Pokémon has given us lush worlds and over 800 Pokémon. Deciding which Eevee evolution to go with can be difficult, though, as it comes down to way more than just which one looks the coolest. Let’s check it out in this post below!
Espeon
Notwithstanding having the most noteworthy Attack detail of all Eeveelutions, Espeon doesn’t actually be able to show it off. With regards to PvP in the Go Battle League, for instance, it’s essentially pointless across every one of the three significant Leagues. Where Espeon shows guarantee, however, is in PvE, where it tends to be an extraordinary Fighting and Poison-type counter in the event that you’re deficient in other, all the more impressive Psychic-type decisions like Mewtwo or Metagross.
Leafeon
As with most Eeveelutions, there are better grass options than Leafeon available, like Tangrowth and Roserade. It’s still one of the top non-Legendary Grass-types, though, and has solid Attack and Defense stats. Leafeon also shows potential in the Master League, where it can take down any Pokemon with a weakness to Grass-type moves. It won’t last long against most other opponents, though, so definitely don’t rely on it.
Jolteon
While Jolteon isn’t the worst of the Eevee evolutions, it isn’t one of the best either. It doesn’t pack enough power or niche to really make any waves across either the PvP or PvE meta in Pokemon Go. If you’re adamant about Jolteon, though, it’s best to save it for PvE. Here, it can be a budget Electric-type choice if you don’t have access to any Legendaries or high-tier normal options like Magnezone or Electivire
